What is Allah trying to telling us in this verse? What can be avoided if we follow this verse alone?

I don’t understand why people here are saying “this verse is not for this” and “this verse is not directed to us”. The Quran is guidance for the whole of mankind, and every single word is directed to us. May Allah (Swt) widen our and our mind. Thank you brother FTL, for sharing this beautiful verse with us.
