Should I get a PSP or a PS3?

I got my boyfriend both for christmas (we gave our gifts at the beginning of december) and they both have different good points. When he's home he lives in front of the ps3 and when he travels (he works 1300miles away on the north slope) he loves his psp3000. It depends on what kind of functions you are looking for. Do you want to be able to take it around or are you a homebody? PS3 has a larger variety of games. But the ps3 was def worth the money, and actually the psp combo pack with god of war was too....
